Located just off the road 20kms Nth of Einasleigh and 25kms Sth of Gulf Developmental Road.

The camping area is a large open flat area with plenty of room. Toilets and hot showers are provided at this site. Easy access from the road and a good place to base for exploring our attractions.

The Lagoon Camp is where the Jardine Brothers camped in 1864 while droving cattle to the new settlement in Cape York. The Lagoon is often covered in lilies with an abundance of bird life that frequent the area. Cattle come to drink alongside kangaroos with freshwater crocs lulling about.

On occasions be witness to the working operations of a cattle station with our cattle yards next to campground.
